As a Florida Corporation, the Pompano Beach Flying Club is required to comply with State laws for operations and reporting as described in Florida Statutes Title XXXVI, Business Organizations, Chapter 617, Corporations Not For Profit.
The Pompano Senior Squadron Flying Club (now doing business as Pompano Beach Flying Club) filed its Articles of Incorporation with the Florida Secretary of State in 1970 and, with the exception of several early years (1973-1976), has filed annual reports with the State of Florida (though the 2021 Annual Report was filed late, costing the Club a $400 penalty). The documents below come from the Secretary of State’s Division of Corporations “Sunbiz” web site about the Club .
The Club’s Articles of Incorporation were contained with the Club’s initial filing in 1970. Over 50 years later, on May 5, 2021, the Club filed two amendments with the State of Florida. In addition to a web-page version of the Articles of Incorporation, we have made available a text-readable (OCR) version of the Club’s Articles of Incorporation here.
